Paul Valley
Vale do Paul Cacoueira de Espanadeiro – Figueiral
Explore one of Santo Antão’s two most lush and enchanting valleys — the Paulo Valley. With its verdant mountains and breathtaking landscapes, it offers one of the island’s most authentic experiences.
Between Cacoueira, Espanadeiro, and Figueiral, visitors will find a setting of rare natural beauty, where crystal-clear springs, waterfalls, and tropical plants come together in perfect harmony. It’s an ideal destination for hiking, photography, nature observation, and experiencing Cape Verdean rural life.
During the tour, you can admire the Spanish Waterfall, one of the valley’s two hidden treasures, surrounded by imposing mountains and lush vegetation. Along the way, you’ll also visit small traditional villages, where visitors are welcomed with the characteristic hospitality of the Paulo region.
