Miss Georgette was born and raised in Mindelo, known as the music island of Cape Verde. The first child of the legendary boxing champion “Titino the Boxer,” Georgette inherited her father’s fearless spirit, intuitive business sense, and generous heart. From an early age, she dreamed big, always aware of the opportunities that could be created where others saw gaps.

In the early 1970s, her father sent her to Europe, where she at once entered the hospitality world. Starting in a small family-run B&B and later moving on to work at a prestigious hotel in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Georgette quickly gained valuable experience. Her drive and dedication led her to invest in real estate across Europe and Cabo Verde, always with the goal of helping others—especially fellow Cape Verdeans—and providing her children with a broad, global outlook through travel.

After decades of successful ventures, Georgette returned to Cabo Verde with a vision. She founded The Georgette Group, a family company focused on tourism, offering unique accommodations and exclusive experiences. The group was a success from the very beginning. Known for its distinctive @home experience, attention to detail, and unmatched hospitality, the group quickly became a top player in the tourism sector, earning rave reviews and high rankings.
